Installation Instructions for Macintosh

1. Finding the image you want
Open the folder called "MAC." Inside you will find folders corresponding to the chapters in the manual. Inside each folder the images are listed alphabetically. So if you want to use an image called "spacedog," for example, look in the "Animals" folder, and scroll down until you get to the S╒s.
2. Importing the clipart into your document
Open your program of choice, and import the image. The import command varies for different applications, but is usually ╥file--place,╙ ╥file--get picture,╙ ╥insert--picture╙ or something like that. Remember, you can╒t open these images by double-clicking on them. You must access them from within the program you are using.
3. Editing the clipart
In The Mood images are saved as Adobe Illustrator 1.1 files and can be edited in most Postscript drawing programs, as well as image-editing and paint type programs. Here you can add color or change the clipart to suit your needs. To do this you must open the images from within your graphics program. For more information on editing graphics, please consult your program's manual.
4. Printing
Print your images normally through the print command in your software program. For proper output, a Postscript compatible printer must be used.
